Fourth of July Magic Recap
Magic Kingdom lit up with “Celebrate America!” fireworks, castle projections, and a Frontierland DJ dance party on July 3–4. Note: no fireworks took place at Disney Springs this year.
Productions Begin July 7 – Rivers of America No More
As of July 7, Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Liberty Square Riverboat have officially closed. Disney confirmed this summer that they’re being removed to make room for the Piston Peak National Park expansion — a brand-new Cars-themed land inspired by the Rockies, complete with trails, a visitor lodge, geysers, and two new attractions.
Test Track 3.0 Reopens July 22
The refreshed Test Track roars back to life at EPCOT on July 22, featuring new theming, soundtrack, and upgraded ride vehicles.
